We are experienced in conservatorship matters. Unfortunately, there are times when a person is unable to protect or manage his/her own finances or his/her own personal care. A father may be suffering from an disease such as Alzheimer's or dementia. A husband may be in a coma from an accident. A sister may be suffering for an illness that caused a physical disability. Whatever the case may be, it is a time when that person needs help.
In order to provide help, a conservatorship may be necessary. A conservatorship is a court-supervised process of protecting and managing the personal care or finances of someone who has been found to be unable to do so for himself or herself (known as the Conservatee). The court will appoint a Conservator (e.g., family member, friend, or professional conservator) to carry out these duties.
During these tough and trying time, we can help you with a smooth conservatoship process. We can help you petition the court to be appointed as the Conservator.
